Welcome New PI Staff!

We are very excited about our additional faculty and staff members that have joined our team this year at Piedmont Intermediate School. They are from various backgrounds, which adds new perspective as we continue to grow and learn from one another.

Brandi Bird, Counselor: For the past 5 years, she has been working in our district, but most recently at the Middle School of Piedmont. Her favorite thing about Piedmont is the community feel that our schools have. She loves seeing familiar faces and watching siblings come through the schools. Her 5th grade daughter runs up and hugs the neck of her kindergarten teacher at the HS football games, which is priceless to her! I love that our teachers cheer for our students’ successes in academics and extra-curricular activities.

Brandi Skokowski, Assistant Principal: Previously Mrs. Skokowski has been a head principal in Mid-Del Public Schools. She is happy to be at Piedmont because her husband and her have been lookin for a place to settle down and raise their family. They fell that Piedmont is the best place for this. She loves the community feeling and welcoming everyone has been.

Cari Morelock, English Teacher: Mrs. Morelock has been a stay-at-home mom for the past 3.5 years. Prior to staying at home, she worked for MidFirst Bank in the Product Management Department. In her previous employment, she often felt that she wasn’t doing anything that really mattered or made an impact. As a teacher, she believes everyday matters, and she is loving it! Each day, she has the opportunity to help kids learn, lend a listening ear, or give a smile to help students get through the day. She is thrilled to be a part of PI this year!
